As an alternative - unique instruments rather than series recorders - we offer our MOECK Steenbergen recorders (soprano and alto; a = 440 and 415 Hz) after originals in the Steenbergen Collection.

Steenbergen recorders are based on an original instrument by Jan Steenbergen (Amsterdam, 1675–1728) from Frans Brüggen's legendary recorder collection. 

They have a very narrow wind way which seems to lead the airstream almost over the edge. Thus, they are elastic in dynamics and articulation, even with varying air pressure. Recorder includes a hard case.
